Ipoh bound!

Today is totally, indubitably, my ultimate hibernating day as I'm fasting without having any sahur and I had a reaalllllyyyyyy tiring day yesterday. Seriously guys. I haven't even stepped my feet downstairs yet. So I guess that just gives me a reason to update my blog which no one reads... No?

Anyway, my bestfriend and I made an impulsive move and took a 6am to Ipoh, Perak. I still can't believe we actually did that. We took the train from KL Sentral and left our houses around 5am. Can you believe it, 5 FRIGGIN AM! I felt like I was going for a hike since the only time I wake up before 5am is when I go for a hike. Orrrr for sahur.

OK. Back to the story. Upon reaching KL Sentral, I wanted to "salam" Sarah's mum as she was the one who sent us there. A second after I did, she quickly dismissed me and went "Dah dah pergi! Nanti lambat karang. Nanti turun, cepat cepat tanya orang surau kat mana (as I had to perform my subuh prayer there), nak naik train kat mana". So as soon as we reached KL Sentral, I instantaneously ran to the gate, feeling like I was participating in The Amazing Race Asia. Hey, a girl can dream right? Or daydream in my case.

After we settled down, we got into our train, giggled laughed our ass off to Mr Bean, and slept soundly (Just kidding, my neck was totally strained), we finally arrived at Ipoh after a couple of hours. I eagerly took out my dusty ol' camera and tadaaaaa! Here are some of the pictures from yesterday.

"Sarah! Walk in front of me now, fast!"

This picture was taken right before the melted purple ais kepal (ice ball) spilled on my shirt. -__-

I have no idea what was I doing to be honest.

 Happy cendol faces!

Consequently, we just kind of ate, walked and took lots and lots of pictures. Didn't really do much but I had fun nevertheless. It's always a good time when you surround yourself with people who emit positive vibes. Till the next (sort of) adventure!

Nanok Gulai Girls

It has been suchhhhh a long time since I last blogged and now that I have WAY too much free time, I decided to write a lil something. About my nanok gulai girls! Haih these girls... Where do I even begin? I bet it is going to be one hell of a long post, so I'm not sure if anyone is going to read this till the end. But if you're one of the few people who does, then congrats! You da real mvp.      To commence, I guess it is best if I start introducing them one by one. 8/9 with Ayu missing in the picture. From left: Fazleen (Faz), Safiyyah Yunos (Sasa), Afifah Abd Rahman (fifa15), Arisya Farhani (Syahani), Aina Adleen (Enaleen), Me (qila jo-d), Farisha Aziz (Faa/Ishii), and Wan Zahira (1jeera). Picture taken on the last day of foundation, creyz. Hey there's Ayu in the picture beside me! Top row, second from right. Laughters & Ice-Cream.

Creyz because of the heat but yayerz to the splendid natural lighting hehe.  Pretended to greet an old friend. Must've been one hell of an awkward reunion. When it comes to me, that's what happens I suppose.  This is so not a candid picture ew. What is it with people and pretending to laugh when taking pictures anyway? I look like a penguin most of the time. :( Now this is a real candid shot.  Outfit details on the left: Top, Forever 21. Skirt, sister's (but I think it was bought in Indonesia). Necklace, Forever 21. Hand cuffs, https://my.carousell.com/anis.sofhea/. Peep toe hells, Vincci. Clutch, Bonita.   One with the bride and groom. Congratulations on your recent venture into something so sacred and thrilling. Also, thanks for the invitation, lovely Mai! Did some reminiscing of  those days working in Chili's. (googled on how to spell Chili's because until today I still don't know how to spell it pr...

For North Star

I was thinking.. How should I begin this blog letter? Dear Shagunk? Like how Yasmin Ahmad wrote Toffee to refer to a particular person in her personal journal entree? But Shagunk sounds a bit rempit and your initial is too obvious. So out of all your never-ending nicknames, I shall go with North Star. Like the first playlist I ever made you, For North Star. I wrote this letter last night, and I thought of sending it to you over the weekend. But I don't think I have the guts to. So being the chicken I am, I am writing down the letter here thinking maybe you'll read it, maybe you won't. So here goes nothing; , , , , , , , , Dear North Star, There's so much that I'd like to say to you. So much that I have been keeping to myself. But where do I even begin? Is it even possible to tell them all? They are all scattered around now. From my sorrows to my happiness, even to my confusion. Do you have any idea that even by talking to you could make me happy?...
